[ Good evening, everyone!
Well, actually it's not. It's raining—hard. Is it supposed to be? Who knows. But there's a thunderstorm rolling in, and zombies aren't immune to being struck by lightning.
Really, though—there's nothing entirely extraordinary about tonight. It's what you choose to make of it.
OOC: This is just a quick little mingle; your characters can be doing whatever you'd like! ARE THEY HUDDLING FOR SHELTER FROM THE STORM? REMINISCING ABOUT FOND RAINY DAY MEMORIES? IS THERE A MURDER GOING ON SOMEWHERE? ARE YOU STILL TRYING TO PIECE TOGETHER EVIDENCE OF WHY YOU'RE HERE? ]

he's not ready to assume he's out of danger, though. ]
'All right?' [ it's a cautious echo, not really an incredulous one. ] You're not gonna, like — hunt him down?

Hunt him down? [ His echo is a little incredulous. ] For what? Tracking mud in? [ No, he's not that stupid. ]

that, as much as anything bruce has done, inspires admiration and a little more fear in roger. anyone who isn't in a constant state of terror here and now is worth admiring (and fearing).
he lets himself relax a little, slowly, and steals a cautious glance back at bruce. the eye contact is brief. bruce is an alpha male if roger's ever met one. ]
For being a werewolf, I dunno. Figured you might think he was dangerous.

If he gets bitten by a zombie or starts eating people here, I'll reassess. Until then, at least he's more likely housebroken than the actual dog that was wandering around.
[ All bullshit aside? Bruce isn't overly worried about the werewolf. The zombies are a bigger problem. He doesn't particularly like or enjoy animals, but if Superman hasn't sent him over the edge, a werewolf isn't. ...Yes, he thinks Superman's the bigger threat. ]

Thanks. [ there's a note of relief in it that roger doesn't try to hide. ] Hey, I'll keep an eye on him, okay? I'll make sure he stays outta trouble.
[ he means it, too. he'll be lying low. what's more, if an angry mob does crop up, roger now has bruce to point at. he knew there was a werewolf all along. hopefully, it would be enough to stop them. if not, it would at least take some of the heat off roger. ]

He's a guy who presumably turns into a wolf. Unless he gets bitten by a zombie, starts eating people, chewing on shoes or pissing on walls, I don't foresee much issue - outside the full moon and depending on how accurate those myths are, anyway.
[ Hm. There was a question. ]
How accurate are the common myths?
no subject
Well, it's — [ he tosses a hand in the general direction of where the aforementioned moon might be, if it were night. ] — almost the new moon.
So... conventional campy horror flick wisdom says 'not very.' [ he glances down at the pawprints for emphasis, and then, as if reminded, he unwinds a few paper towels. ]

[ Dryly. If that thing does prove a threat, Bruce is so going to... flame throw it. Good news? He probably won't kill it, because killing is bad and killing zombies has him in a mental crisis. Zombies are already dead. ]
no subject
[ roger doesn't intend to be seen during the full moon, so he's not worried. he'll split the day before and hope no one notices he's missing. not that he can't control himself, but — well, now there's someone here who knows there's a werewolf around. he doesn't want to be here when people start getting jumpy.
he moves away from bruce before he kneels down. the mud is drying already, and it scrubs easily off the floor with just the paper towels. maybe a broom and dustpan would've been in order. ]
no subject
For now, though, he simply looks down at Roger. ]
I'll leave you to your cleaning.
[And then he's just gone. Because he's kind of (kind of?) a dick. ]
no subject
no, really, roger's happy to be left alone. he'd be happier if he could convince himself that bruce was gonna let this shit go, but hey. can't have everything.
he's guessing he'll have to contend with bruce again in a couple weeks. ]
