[ thomas is busy with the computer as she goes about opening the can, peering at what he can without prying the case open, yet. making sure the only things plugged into it are power cord, net cable, mouse, monitor and keyboard. follows the internet cable to the modem it hooks into, examines that as well. once he's back, the can's opened, and the kid looks starving as he just... grabs at the fruit inside. not like he has any utensils, and, dammit, he's hungry.
it's with a mouth full of peach slice that he takes a moment to clean his fingers off on his... not that clean anyway clothes, before going back to the computer. ]
Sort of.
[ he mumbles around the fruit, reaching to power off the computer for a second, pausing, counting in his head, and turning it back on. he's peering intently at the screen, waiting for anything that would let him go to configuration instead of straight to loading the operating system. it skips it completely, right back to the request for a password. he sighes heavily, and stuffs a piece of pineapple in his mouth, munching, as he looks from the monitor to the computer tower, thinking. ]
It's been a while. And my memory's not that great. [ a beat passes. he adds: ] This might be dumb.
[ turning off the computer again, and he's very cautiously starting to pry the shell open to get a look inside. hopefully nothing explodes. ]
