A. [Waking up in a place that he didn't recognize or start out in was not a new thing for Damon. Though it would've been nice if he remembers how he blacked out in the first place and went from rubbing elbows at the Lockwood estate to breathing in sterile air under a sheet like he was in a hospital. Every noise he hears is coming from outside and seems to be heard through a very loud, leaky faucet.
He doesn't see the source of the dripping water when he actually opens his eyes and sits up. He's in a small, sparse room with a steel door and a single light. The "fuck this" signal goes off in his brain and he goes straight for the door--and it's already unlocked and he can get out just fine without any struggle, which surprises him. If anything, it puts him even further on edge.
Last person he talked to was Klaus. The last conversation he remembers was about not knowing how far his brother was willing to go to accomplish his plan. He might not be locked in a cell, but this place is unfamiliar and not where he's supposed to be. And when he checks his phone, the battery's dead, which puts it right back into his pocket. Nothing validates that he's even in Mystic Falls anymore, though that thought is too ridiculous to entertain for long.
His eyes dart around.] Stefan? [First time is flat and perfunctory. The next couple times, he might sound a little more concerned.]
B. [As far as getting a good look at the room he woke up in and the items still inside, he'll get to that. But he needs a better idea of the bigger picture, first. So he'll be going through as much of the compound as he can.
He stops briefly in the weapons shed, more to examine it than anything else. It's about as well-stocked and expansive as a B-horror knock-off place like this would be. He'll just be looking and not taking a single thing.
He spends a lot more time in the medical bay. Like most of the newcomers, he'll be rummaging through the different pharmaceuticals and supplies that have seemingly been left out for them. Except he still isn't taking anything, and might even toss a few things over his shoulder and onto the floor in order to get them out of his way, like he's looking for something very specific. Spending a lot of time in particular looking inside any type of container that's refrigerated.]
C. [Then there were the front doors and their ominous graffiti threats.
DO NOT GO OUTSIDE WITHOUT A GUN AND WATER, the writing tells Damon. To which he snorts, and scratches some of the dried blood off with a fingernail.] Dramatic, much?
