or maybe traitors don't get swift death. or maybe there's a special center of the underworld that calls home to the people who betray their friends, in the form of an apocalypse -- it doesn't seem very greek, but then again silena isn't about to question it. she lost her capability of caring in her death, lost a lot of herself in death, and more than anything she just feels tired. there's no charlie ( which is fine, because he probably went to the paradise of heroes that silena will never see ), there's no clarisse, there's no reason for her to keep trying when she'd already given up long, long ago.
still, her existence as a daughter of aphrodite becomes her. and as soon as she comes to, her immediate reaction is to push her hand against the gnarly scarred side of her face and run with her head down to the medical bay. there's no helping the scars, which is fine, because now the outer appearance matches the inner one -- but she does find bandages, and manages to wrap up the ugly half of her face, bandage crossed over one of her eyes and the entirety of one of her cheeks.
there's still disfiguration seen on the border between bandage and skin, and maybe silena feels self conscious about it, but she largely keeps her head down, rifling through drawers and drawers to find something close to a weapon. )
