[ kate has seen the warning on the doors, and she knows what to do. you don't come out of an ancient mayan temple just to lose your cool now (except she is very freaked out by all of this; she just doesn't show it, out of a survival instinct that burns brighter in her now). her first decision being in the medical bay is to stock up on what she can, anything she might need after she finds that gun — as much as it scares her, she can't stay in here. there's bandages and pills and syringes, and she grabs a few of each, creating her own makeshift first aid kit as she scrambles to throw it all into a container she emptied out onto the floor. (it's getting pretty crowded in here.)
now she just needs a bag — and where did she set down that crowbar? her heart is kind of jackhammering throughout all of this as she moves swiftly, trying to keep a clear head. she tucks some of her hair behind her ear as she moves from a kneeling position to her feet. as she straightens and turns, her body smacks into something solid. the supplies she just gather clatter to the ground and she stares up at two wide shoulders — a suit all too familiar. and her pulse skyrockets.

they have to stop meeting like this. ]
