This was something he didn't think he'd ever get and he wasn't quite sure he wanted it, but the opportunity to truly learn about his father was standing in front of him, making him feel some sense of fondness. He caught himself as his expression softened, almost betraying that feeling before he brought back his carefree guise and cleared his throat.
