[ so far, all pepper has really done is find a pair of pants to go with her brand new t-shirt (V.I.P.E.R. isn't an acronym she's familiar with, but she makes note of it anyway, fully aware as someone who works for a huge company that huge companies are easily to blame for huge disasters), and mercifully, a pair of flats that fit her. which is to say, sneakers. her expensive high heels have been left by her bedside, placed there neatly, though she doesn't think she's going to end up holding onto those for very long. not that anyone's going to steal them, but this looks like the kind of place that would swallow unnecessary items. shame, but pepper's not going to put fashion over practicality in this instance, not when she's trying to play it cool.
