Uh, [ he does give her one of those looks, the one that asks whether or not that was a serious question that she wants answered, and peter likes to think that he's pretty good at that look ] how else? I was born with it. I mean, I guess I could have changed my name or just believe that to be the one that's true, but nah, there's no point in that. It's my name, my mom's name, both of my sisters' names, etcetera.

[ peter's still giving her that look, doesn't understand her confusion and why she can't seem to understand that his name is indeed his name. but then, he can't find out what she's thinking, and it could be for any number of reasons that she's feeling as such. maybe it will be explained, maybe it won't, but still.
