he's honestly tempted to play along. maybe it wouldn't be so bad, being an animal in the apocalypse. he's a smart dog. if some human wanted to champion him, he'd give them plenty of reason: an obedient, intelligent animal with as many teeth as roger has right now could be a huge help. he could be a guard dog, he could learn to hunt.
but when he thinks about it, about staying a wolf for that long? it's scary. how long would it take him to forget what his own voice sounds like?
