▶ WHO: Pietro & You
▶ DATE: August 21st
▶ WARNINGS: None
▶ SUMMARY: Pietro finds a box of familiar goodies.

[He doesn't wait for the undead to clear out from around it. Pietro just goes through them, too fast for their teeth to sink in, too fast for even the gore to get on him. He has the box and he's gone, simple as that.]

Care Package.

[He repeats the words stamped on the side, inspects the sun-bleached wood that's protecting whatever's in it. Maybe it's not even something he needs. Maybe it's not something that even needs to be let out. Pietro considers these things before he finally shrugs and looks around for something to pry it open with.

What's actually inside surprises him, a thing that's not easily done these days. It's as if the contents were tailor-made just for him, meant for him to find despite the random placement. The first is a book of places to visit in Sokovia, which he flips through and curses under his breath before tossing it aside. What's underneath is a lot more interesting - snacks. Candies and sodas, the ones that he and Wanda used to split as children.

A few minutes later and he's sitting in the shade, eating one of the chocolate bars and drinking the soda, hot from the sun but still so sweet on his tongue. There were two things at the bottom of the box, and Pietro holds them in his fingers now to look at the first one.

"Welcome to scenic Sokovia!"

He snorts as he tosses the postcard away.
]

Bullshit. No one comes to Sokovia for a vacation.

[It's the second thing that really gets under his skin, the handwritten note at the bottom of it all:

Good luck.
